The Story: When I was a freshman in high school, I went to UNC basketball camp for a week with my best friend Michael Richeson. During the camp, you went through drills and learned a lot about the game. You were also put on a team in your age group, and you played in a tournament at the end of the week.
Well on the second day, a kid named Kendall was moved up to my age group and put on my team. I was much more distracted by the fact that Charlie Scott's son Shannon was also in my age group.
A couple months later my friend called me and said "Dude, Kendall is in Sports Illustrated for Kids!" I didn't believe him, so I went over to his house- and sure enough it was him. Shortly after that he committed to UNC.
Kendall was the most amazing passer in UNC history in my opinion. His court vision was incredible. As far as passing goes, he goes in the same sentence as Pete Maravich, Steve Nash, Bob Cousy, Magic Johnson, and Jason Williams.
After he was drafted, I decided to super-collect him. I go after every card he's ever had made other than the 1/1s. Even though I have 5 of those too ha.
Cool card to check out here: The Leaf Inscription "Go Heels" is definitely one of my favorites!
Fun Fact: Kendall and I both are left-handed. We both played point guard, and we both pride ourselves on our passing more than our scoring. You could say we're the same obviously. haha.
Current Statistics:
Kendall Collection: 248/291 85%
